Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Parcel collects, why, and who sees it. The short version: your brokerage's data is yours, it is walled off from every other brokerage, and we don't sell it.

What we collect

• Account details: names, emails, phone numbers, license numbers and passwords (stored only as secure hashes).
• Transaction records your team enters or uploads: contracts, disclosures, parties, dates, commission terms, notes and activity.
• Payment details are collected by Stripe directly; Parcel stores only identifiers and the last four digits where needed.
• Usage information needed to run and secure the service, such as sign-in times and error logs.

How we use it

To provide the service to your brokerage: showing deals to the right people, sending the emails you trigger (invitations, signing requests, reminders, statements), computing commissions, and keeping your records. We don't use your data for advertising.

Our public website

On parceltm.com and the sign-up pages (not inside the app), we measure visits to improve the site and our advertising: Vercel Web Analytics (pages viewed, referring site, country and device, without cookies), Microsoft Clarity (clicks, scrolling and anonymized session replays, with typed text masked), and the Meta Pixel and Google tag when we run ads. These providers process that data under their own privacy terms.

AI

If your brokerage adds an AI provider key, documents you choose to analyze are sent to that provider (Anthropic, OpenAI or Google) under your own account and their terms. Parcel stores the AI's suggestions alongside the document. Without a key, nothing is sent to any AI provider.

Who else sees data

• People on your brokerage's team, according to their role; clients you invite see only their own deal.
• Recipients of emails you send (signers, title companies, lenders) see what you send them.
• Service providers that run Parcel: Supabase (database and files, US), Vercel (hosting, US), Resend (email), Stripe (payments), and your chosen AI provider.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access between brokerages is blocked at the database level and verified by an automated test suite on every release. Provider keys you give us are stored encrypted.

Retention and your choices

We keep your data while your brokerage has an account and for a reasonable period afterwards so you can export it. You can export at any time and ask us to delete your account's data by emailing hello@parceltm.com.
